Fuel System Solution

Fuel System Icing Inhibitor - Fuel System Icing Inhibitor (FSII) is an additive to aviation fuels that prevents the formation of ice in fuel lines. FSII is sometimes referred to by the genericized trademark Prist®.

Inerting system - An inerting system is a device that attempts to increase the safety of a fuel tank, ball mill, or other sealed or closed-in tank that contains highly flammable material, by pumping nitrogen, steam, carbon dioxide, or some other inert gas or vapor into its air space in order to displace oxygen. With no oxygen (or, at least, an insufficient oxygen level) in the tank, the fuel cannot ignite, and explosions cannot occur.

Fuel pump - A fuel pump is an essential component on a car or other internal combustion engined device. Fuel has to be pumped from the fuel tank to the engine and delivered under low pressure to the carburetor or under high pressure to the fuel injection system.

Fuel injection - Fuel Injection is a method or system for metering fuel into an internal combustion engine. The fuel is then burned in air to produce heat, which in turn is converted to mechanical work by the engine.

Handbook of Fuel Cell Modelling

Handbook of Fuel Cell Modelling
Fuel Cells are growing in importance as sources of sustainable energy fuel system solution and will doubtless form part of the changing programme of energy resources in the future. The Handbook of Fuel Cell Modelling looks at how engineers can model fuel cell systems to get optimal results for any application. Modelling is mainly concerned with the electrodes fuel system solution and electrolytes in fuel cell systems, fuel system solution and this book is a practical summary of how to create models, how to manipulate them fuel system solution and how to interpret results. It is a hands-on book which is high in detail fuel system solution and written by experts in the field. The only book available in the fast growing area of fuel cell modelling. Includes practical problems fuel system solution and solutions to enable readers to use the book as a starting point for their own modelling. Written by leading experts in the field.
